„near mint“ is a series of portraits dedicated to the Swiss vinyl scene, highlighting the values that unite this small but special community beyond music: Mindfulness, community, sharing and conscious listening.

Episode 1: Tina Marie

Tina Marie shared music as a Tumblr blogger in Canada before moving to Zurich six years ago. Charline Giebel portrays the DJ and record collector to find out more about her approach to music.

Episode 2: Muriel alias Yeng

Under the name of Yeng, Muriel built her self a name for flawless and energising house sets. To learn were her inspiration coms from and how she approaches digging, Charline Giebel met with her to find out more.

Episode 3: Moritz alias Mono Moritz

In his portrait, Charline Giebel asked Moritz Wenk, alias Mono Moritz, what listening is. The DJ and record collector has only recently found solace in indulging his passion for hi-fi systems and takes an interest in this question on various levels.
