Analog Kültür sells a lot of DJ-friendly electronic music. House, disco and techno singles can be found here and are well sorted. But not only that, Analog Kültür also has a good selection of world music records and Turkish 7". You can also buy used synthesizers, effects and other equipment in the shop. This also makes the shop a meeting place for DJs and musicians.

Deform Music presents a very nice selection. From classic house to 80s, new wave, jazz funk, dub, reaggea and more. The boxes are well stocked and the records are in good quality. Highly recommended to stop by here.

Mr. Frog's is the record store you go to twice to make sure you've found everything from your wantlist. Very well curated with a nice interior. Big crates with 60s / 70s psychedelic and also a finely selected dance floor friendly electronic corner.

Kontra Plak is very well organised. There is a lot to discover, especially in the section with rare contemporary avant-garde music. If you are interested in this kind of music, you should take a look. Some of these records are hard to find, especially in Europe.

Zihni Muzik is hidden in Kadıköy. You have to make your way through a shopping passage where there are almost exclusively bookshops. The shop offers a wide range of genres. Are you looking for rare Turkish LPs? Ask the guys in the shop, they will help you find them on the shelves.

Dönence Plak has a big second-hand 7" section where you can find all kinds of Turkish releases. Take your time and have your Discogs app ready (and don't be distracted by the tourists, they only take photos and don't care about the records).
